Looking for Children of Lloyd and Nile Daniels and Edward and Laura "Dolly" Brown
Hi everyone, here's the information on Caspar's children.
Their daughter, Nile, married Lloyd Daniels in 1924. They had 2 children, George and Luann. George was born in 1927 and Luann in 1929. It’s quite possible they are still living. If anyone knows of them or their descendants please contact me.
Laura Louise
Laura is “cousin Dolly” that Kay Corbett, my 2nd cousin twice removed from British Columbia talked about. In 1907 Dolly took a ship up to Victoria and visited them. Cousin Phoebe also went to San Francisco around 1923 and even talked of moving down there she liked it so much.
Laura married Albert Emil Brown on November 23, 1910 in San Francisco. They had 1 child, either Dora or Doris who was born in 1914. She isn’t living with Laura and Edward in the 1940 census so she most likely married between 1930 and 1940. It’s possible also that she died in that time period. If anyone knows anything about her please contact me.
Dolly kept up a correspondence with her cousin, Phoebe Field (nee Titchworth) in Metchosin, British Columbia. Dolly may have travelled to B.C but she was born, lived, and died in San Francisco. She died on September 6, 1959. Albert Brown is a very common name and it’s hard to figure out when he died.
Next week I'll tell you how Caspar is related to us.

Someone asked me about the death of Caspar’s first wife,
Julia Canfield. I cannot find any
information on her death. It is assumed she died prior to Caspar’s second
marriage in 1897. It would appear that Laura was quite young when her mom died.
As I mentioned, Caspar had 2 children, a boy, Charles C. and
a girl, Laura Louise. In one and only one source Charles middle name, Canfield,
is mentioned. Whether that is correct or not I’m uncertain.
Charles
Charles followed in his father’s footsteps and became a tug master in Santa Clara, California. He married Annabel Pate about July 14, 1900. I say about because took out the marriage license on the 14th but I can’t find out the exact date of his marriage. Annabel was born in the same place in Michigan as Caspar so perhaps the families knew each other already. Charles and Annabel had only one child, Nile Catherine, who was born May 18, 1901, 10 months after their marriage. There isn’t much else about this family except that Annabel seemed to do her civic duty as she was registered to vote in many elections. At the age of 76 Charles died (December 15, 1945) but I can’t find the death of Annabel. She was 9 years younger than Charles and likely died later than him.
